Through hard work and dedication, Vertebrae33 has established himself as one of the most prolific and exciting illustrators on the scene today. He has received much acclaim as of late for his innovative designs, attention to detail, and wholly unique, raw style.
Vertebrae33 has honed his inimitable style, absorbing a wide array of influences, from Salvador Dali to H.R. Giger, Derek Riggs to Drew Struzan, and Zdzislaw Beksinski to Leonardo Da Vinci. Amalgamating these inspirations with his love of classic sci-fi and horror films like Star Wars, Alien, and the classic Universal monster films, as well his devotion to heavy metal acts such as Tool, Mastodon, and Isis, Vertebrae33 has created an output that is appealing to other fans of these genres, without ever seeming like mere imitations of other artists’ work. Little wonder that he finds himself so heavily in demand: he has recently designed merchandise for bands such as Nirvana, Slayer, Skeletonwitch, Intronaut, Black Cobra, Coffins, ROH Wrestling, and the popular heavy metal media outlets Metal Hammer and Metalsucks.net. Additionally, he has done body graphic designs for B.C. Rich Guitars, and gear designs for WWE Wrestler Seth Rollins.
